For many years the Colorado High School
Coaches Association has utilized the facilities and hospitality of the Aurora,
Colorado, Red Lion Inn Denver SE located at 3200 South Parker Road, 80014. Due to our relationship with the hotel we
have held our annual Hall of Fame ceremony, our large track clinic and our most
important event, our annual summer Multi-Sport Clinic at the Red Lion.
The 2013 version of the CHSCA Multi-Sport
Clinic was held the weekend of July 24-27 and while we as CHSCA administrators
were aware of the remodeling project being conducted at the Red Lion you can
imagine our chagrin and shock when we arrived to a massive remodel that we
feared would completely change the scope of our event.
The purpose of this correspondence is to
inform you that the staff of the Red Lion SE went above and beyond what anyone
could expect in trying to alleviate our concerns and I want to make sure they
are commended for their efforts. Led by
General Manager Christian Henny and Sales Manager Eve Steffen we were made to
feel not only welcome but special. Each
of them and their staff members did everything they could to assist us in
conducting a first class event. They
adjusted their efforts as needed to accommodate us and it is because of their
efforts we have decided to continue our events at the Red Lion Denver SE.
As the leader of the Red Lion Corporation
you should feel proud and thankful that you have leaders like Christian Henny
and Eve Steffen. Their efforts were
greatly appreciated.
